Digital Hands announces strategic technology leader.

Digital Hands, a leading cybersecurity managed services company and top ranked MSSP specializing in safeguarding mid-tier and large enterprises, announced the appointment of Jason Allen as its Chief Technology Officer effective June 1, 2020. Allen will lead Digital Hands’ Development and Security Operations (DevSecOps) as Chief Technology Officer.

Allen brings over 20 years of technology leadership and a proven track record for innovation. As a CTO he enjoys being a hands-on leader with a focus on software engineering and product development. In addition to his contributions at MessageControl and Yello, Jason supported the high-energy physics research programs at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, US Department of Energy.

“The opportunity to bring my experience in scaling global engineering teams to support the growth of Digital Hands was a welcome adventure given the company’s longstanding managed security services track record and entrepreneurial culture”, said Jason Allen.  “I look forward to collaborating with the team and building enabling technologies that will enhance our unique capabilities to protect and defend our customers from an increasingly sophisticated threat landscape. After many years of building products for some of the world's largest companies, I am thrilled to join a company that not only values product innovation but consistently utilizes technology in an “as-a-service” delivery model that provides the fastest time to realizing value for their customers.”

Digital Hands actively supports over 40 cybersecurity technologies and intends to expand legacy support to an increasingly complex vendor environment. While the company continues to grow, it will remain focused on offering cybersecurity services and expand its offerings to mid-tier companies that require the same cyber expertise, tools, and streamlined processes that the company delivers to its large enterprise organizations.

“We welcome Jason to the Digital Hands leadership team with great enthusiasm. With his impressive set of skills, I am confident that he will elevate the sophistication of our technology operations and accelerate the development and integration of our platforms in order to continue to exceed our customers‘ expectations,” said Charlotte Baker, Chief Executive Officer, Digital Hands. “Jason’s wealth of experience in building highly successful technology teams and innovative security platforms will be instrumental to our long-term growth strategy.”

In addition to Allen’s DevSecOps career, Allen has served a trifecta of Active Duty, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard posts where he received numerous awards including the Bronze Star and Army Commendation medals for service in Operation Desert Storm. Playing an active role in the technology community is important to Allen and he was the the founder of the Chicago DevSecOps Meetup group that has grown to over 400 members.
